Marco Valencia Identified as Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on Newport Road [Menifee, CA]

36-Year-Old San Jacinto Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident near Menifee Road

MENIFEE, CA (September 10, 2018) – A man was killed late Monday evening, following a motorcycle accident near Menifee Road. The victim was later identified by the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office as 36-year-old Marco Valencia of San Jacinto.

According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the motorcyclist collided with a vehicle at about 11:18 PM on Newport Road.

Unfortunately, Valencia sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders. Meanwhile, the impact of the crash caused the car to roll over multiple times before coming to rest. Two occupants inside the wrecked vehicle were reportedly unharmed.

An investigation is ongoing to determine the events that led to the crash and to identify possible contributing factors.
