HOUSTON, TX (February 21, 2023) – Saturday morning, authorities arrested Marco Antonio Juarez after a fatal DUI crash on Katy Freeway.

The incident happened on the shoulder of the Katy Freeway.

According to reports, a westbound dark-colored Toyota Tundra pickup struck a man who was filling up the tank of his Chrysler 300. Then, the force of the crash pushed the victim to hit the rear of the Uber vehicle that serviced him at the location earlier.

Moreover, responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The Uber driver was not hurt in the incident.

Furthermore, authorities arrested the Tundra driver, Marco Antonio Juarez, on suspicion of DUI. Officers confirmed that Juarez is charged with intoxication manslaughter.
