57-Year-Old Bicyclist Dies in Baseline Road Hit-And-Run Crash in Laveen
Laveen Village, AZ (September 1, 2021) – Tuesday night, a 57-year-old bicyclist identified as Marc Tohe died in a hit-and-run crash on Baseline Road.
The fatal hit-and-run crash happened around 6 p.m on August 31, just east of 75th Avenue.
According to Phoenix police, Tohe rode his bike in the roadway when he was hit by a vehicle heading east on Baseline Road. However, the driver left the area before officers arrived.
EMS immediately took the victim to the hospital but he later died.
Police were not able to provide a description of the vehicle at this time and are now investigating the fatal incident.
