65-Year-Old Manuel Garcia Killed in Camarillo Car Crash

 
CAMARILLO, CA (January 7, 2018) – On Monday morning, 65-year-old Manuel Garcia from Oxnard was killed in a two-vehicle collision on 5th Street.
 
As per reports the accident occurred near East Pleasant Valley Road, just south of Camarillo Airport around 6:20 AM.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Nissan truck driven by Garcia, was traveling westbound on 5th Street when he lost control, crossed into the opposite lane of traffic, and collided head on with a Ford pickup.
 
Paramedics declared Garcia dead on the scene. The Ford driver, 27-year-old man from Oxnard, suffered minor injuries and was transported to St John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital. His current medical condition is unclear at this time.
 
No further details have been disclosed, as the investigation continues.
