1 Person Arrested in North County Auto Accident on US 101 near Exline Road
NORTH COUNTY, CA (March 31, 2024) – Friday night, authorities arrested Mandeep Singh Brar after an alarming police chase crash on US 101.
The incident started at around 1:07 p.m. when authorities were in pursuit of a silver Toyota Camry that was traveling westbound from Kings County into San Luis Obispo County.
According to reports, the suspect vehicle was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes, lost control, and crashed into a traffic sign and a chain-link fence.
Moreover, responders transported the driver of the vehicle, identified as 27-year-old Singh Brar, and his passenger, 67-year-old Chanranjit Kaur Singh, to Twin Cities Hospital for treatment. Also, a Templeton officer sustained minor lacerations while apprehending Brar.
Furthermore, officers arrested Brar for felony evading and misdemeanor hit-and-run.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
