2 Dead in San Diego Pedestrian Accident on North Harbor Drive and Nimitz Boulevard

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (January 20, 2022) – Wednesday night, a man and a woman died in a pedestrian crash on North Harbor Drive and Nimitz Boulevard.
 
The incident occurred at about 6:05 p.m. on North Harbor Drive, west of Nimitz Boulevard.
 
According to some witnesses, a man in his late 30s or early 40s headed west on North Harbor Drive. As he traveled at high speeds, he hit the man and woman walking across a street.
 
Both victims succumbed to their injuries at the scene. At this time, their identity remains undisclosed. However, the officers described them as a man and woman who were both between 55 and 65 years old.
 
Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the scene.
 
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continue to investigate the crash. Also, the authorities urged anyone with information about the crash to contact the Harbor police non-emergency line at (619) 686-6272.
