2 Killed in Greenfield Auto Accident on Cypress Avenue and 14th Street

 
GREENFIELD, CA (September 8, 2022) – Tuesday night, a man and a woman died in a solo crash on Cypress Avenue and 14th Street.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened around 8:30 p.m. Also, the crash occurred on westbound Cypress Avenue and 14th Street.
 
Reports revealed that a westbound 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee struck a wood post for still unknown reasons. Then, the force of the crash pushed the vehicle to roll over down an irrigation pond. Also, both occupants of the vehicle, a man and a woman, were ejected into the roadway.
 
Moreover, responders confirmed that both the victims died at the scene.
 
Furthermore, authorities withheld the identity of the deceased, pending notification to the next of kin.
 
Meanwhile, the incident remained under active investigation.
