45-Year-Old Man Transported in Hit-and-Run Collision on Euclid Avenue [San Diego, CA]

San Diego, CA (January 12, 2024) – A 45-year-old man was seriously injured following a hit-and-run collision on Euclid Avenue Wednesday night.

It was about 8:36 p.m. when the 45-year-old man was walking across Euclid Avenue and violating traffic signs. 

At that same time, the driver of a white vehicle was southbound on the same road.

The accident report noted that the pedestrian stepped in front of the vehicle. The vehicle struck the pedestrian and immediately fled the scene.

Right away, the pedestrian was taken to an area hospital with multiple rib fractures and a fractured scapula. Officers said his injuries were not life-threatening.
