Man Injured after San Diego Scooter Accident on G Street near 10th Street
SAN DIEGO, CA (August 6, 2019) — A man suffered serious head injuries after an electric scooter accident on G Street on Sunday, August 4.
According to San Diego police Officer John Buttle, the scooter crash occurred at about 8:30 p.m. on G Street. In addition, police stated the accident occurred between 10th Street and 11th Street.
The 25-year-old man rode on the north sidewalk of G Street. After that, he lost control of the scooter and fell off, Buttle stated.
First responders transported the victim to a hospital for treatment. He suffered a fractured skull, a fractured orbital and a brain bleed. An officer said that his condition is not considered life-threatening.
