Fatal Incident on Budlong Avenue
Los Angeles, CA (March 26, 2022) – On Friday, a man sustained fatal injuries in an incident on Budlong Avenue.
The rescuers arrived at the crash scene past 12:10 p.m. at the 109th Street intersection.
According to the investigators, the man was in the area to look at a car that was for sale. Suddenly, three suspects attempted to rob him. One of the suspects drew a handgun and shot the man.
The victim ran into the street after he was shot but was hit by a southbound car. The victim incurred traumatic injuries due to the traffic collision. Unfortunately, he lost his life at the scene.
Witnesses said the male suspects ran from the scene westbound on 109th Street.
Meanwhile, the officers withheld the man’s name pending notification of his family. Also, the officers did not say if he died of the gunshot wounds or due to the crash injuries.
Also, there is no update if the involved driver stayed at the scene after the collision.
