1 Hurt in Spokane Train Accident
SPOKANE, WA (March 4, 2019) – A man died after a train hit him near Upriver Drive and Mission Avenue while wearing earphones on March 28.
According to officers, there’s a blockage in the intersection near Upriver Drive and Mission Avenue after a cowcatcher struck a man wearing headphones. Officers also added that the man listened to music and didn’t hear the upcoming train.
He has no serious injuries but he sustained some cuts and abrasions.
The closed intersection is now reopened.
