Man Seriously Injured in Pedestrian Crash at 1900 Garnet Avenue
PACIFIC BEACH, CA (May 19, 2018) – A man was seriously injured when he was struck by an SUV on Garnet Avenue, early Saturday morning.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident occurred around 4:00 AM at the 1900 block of Garnet Avenue. An unidentified man in his 40’s stepped into the street from the curb and was struck by a Nissan Pathfinder driven by a 52-year-old male. The Nissan was westbound when the collision occurred.
The driver remained that the scene after the crash.
The male victim sustained serious injuries that were non-life threatening, according to reports. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment and evaluation. His identity and current medical condition have not yet been disclosed.
