Police Investigate a Pedestrian Accident on Hearn Avenue in Santa Rosa

 
Santa Rosa, CA (December 24, 2020) – Thursday morning, a male pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Hearn Avenue
 
The crash happened around 6:30 a.m on December 24.
 
Santa Rosa Police say a caller had reported a man lying in the street. Officers then responded before 7 a.m. and immediately transported the man to a hospital.
 
Upon investigation, the driver involved returned to the crash scene 45 minutes after the collision. However, there are no words as to why he came back.
 
Investigators identified him as a 27-year-old man from Santa Rosa, driving a red Mitsubishi Mirage sedan.
 
Moreover, Police said alcohol was not a factor in this collision.
 
Police further investigate the case and are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision to call Officer Riley Howard of the Santa Rosa Police Department Traffic Team at 707-543-3636.
