Male Pedestrian Hospitalized after Hit-And-Run Accident in Modesto

 
MODESTO, CA (December 31, 2018) – Man injured in pedestrian accident on Wade Avenue, Monday evening.
 
According to officers, the incident occurred around 6:00 PM near Rouse Avenue, just south of Paradise Road.
 
As per reports, the pedestrian was struck by a hit-and-run driver in a white pickup truck. The victim suffered major injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, for treatment and evaluation.
 
It is unknown if alcohol and drugs were considered to be contributing factors. There has been no further information released regarding the circumstances leading up to the incident at this time, as the investigation continues.
