One Dead in Huntington Beach Pedestrian Accident
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (May 13, 2019) – A man died after a car struck him on Pacific Coast Highway in a Huntington Beach pedestrian accident on May 9.
According to Sgt. Eric Warken, they located the pedestrian with major traumatic injuries in the road near Twin Dolphin Drive shortly after the 10:11 p.m. The pedestrian died shortly after.
“It appears the pedestrian was crossing PCH outside the crosswalk, south of the intersection,” Warken added. Reports revealed that the northbound 2017 Subaru Impreza on the highway hit the man.
Meanwhile, the 21-year-old Dana Point driver remained at the scene and helped with the police.
