1 Hurt in Fresno Train Accident
FRESNO, CA (June 18, 2019) – A man sustained injuries after a train struck him on McKenzie Avenue on June 14.
The incident occurred at about 7:10 p.m. on McKenzie Avenue and Hayes Avenue.
The man walked across the railroad trucks. He didn’t notice the approaching train traveling about 12 mph. It’s also revealed that rail guards are not installed in the area.
Responders transported the man to Community Regional Medical Center with a broken hip.
