Man Steals Mail Truck in Fresno
FRESNO, CA (January 19, 2019) – Early Saturday afternoon, it was reported that an unidentified male had stolen a United States Postal Service mail truck on Shaw Avenue.
Police received a call around 12:00 PM about a man running across Shaw Avenue near Fresno state attempting to stop oncoming cars.
Officials reported the man approached a mail carrier, pushed the driver down before getting into the vehicle and driving away. The suspect was later caught and arrested after crashing near Shaw Avenue and Maroa Avenue.
His identify has not been released and it is unknown if he was injured in the crash.
