Suspected DUI Driver Hospitalized after Crashing into Tree near Greenford Drive
MIRA MESA, CA (December 4, 2018) – A man was injured early Tuesday morning following a solo-vehicle crash on Mira Mesa Boulevard. The identity of the 36-year-old victim was not immediately disclosed to the public.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident happened near Greenford Drive, at about 12:05 AM. A Scion coupe was heading west at a high speed when it jumped a curb, hit a tree, and ended up against a fence in a nearby parking lot.
The driver was transported to a nearby hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Further updates on his current medical condition were not provided. No other injuries were reported by the authorities.
