San Diego Pedestrian Accident on Torrey Pines Road
SAN DIEGO, CA (November 28, 2019) – A 31-year-old man sustained injuries in a pedestrian accident on Torrey Pines Road on November 26.
According to police Officer John Buttle, the pedestrian walked outside of a crosswalk when he got struck by an 18-year-old male driving a 2013 Mercedes SUV north on Torrey Pines Road near Salk Institute Road about 6:45 p.m.
As a result, the pedestrian sustained major head trauma and medical responders took him to a hospital.
The detectives ruled out alcohol as a factor in the collision. However, police did not release any additional information and are conducting an investigation at this time.
