1 Killed in Phoenix Hit-and-Run Crash
Phoenix, AZ (April 5, 2024) – A man riding a motorized scooter has died following a Camelback Road collision late Wednesday night.
The fatal hit-and-run crash happened at approximately 10:30 a.m. near 36th Street.
Responding officers located the man suffering from critical injuries. The medical team rushed him to a hospital where he was later declared dead.
Officers said the victim was riding his scooter westbound on Camelback Road when a vehicle struck the man as he tried to cross the roadway.
The suspect vehicle fled the scene right after the accident.
Police are still investigating this fatal collision.
