Pickup Truck Driver Found A Day After Crash on Alderpoint Road in Bridgeville

 
BRIDGEVILLE, CA (August 8, 2019) – Police rescued a man after a rollover crash on Alderpoint Road on Thursday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the victim crashed his pickup truck upside down 30 to 40 feet off the road in a ditch. It is not yet clear if there are other vehicles involved in the incident.
 
After about 20 hours, a passing motorist saw the truck and called emergency services for rescue. The paramedics said that the truck driver suffered major injuries in the accident. After that, they transported him to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Eureka for treatment.
 
The police did not say exactly how long ago the man sustained injuries. However, a CHP investigating officer estimated the accident occurred at approximately 7:00 PM Thursday.
 
Police did not announce the cause of the accident in reports. However, it still currently remains under investigation at this time.
