Man Pinned Under Car on Beaumont Avenue [Beaumont, CA]

1 Hospitalized in Car Accident in Beaumont

 
BEAUMONT, CA (January 17, 2019) – On Thursday afternoon, one person was injured as he was pinned under a car on Beaumont Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 1:00 PM, just south of California Avenue.
 
As per reports, the tow truck driver was in the process of loading a disabled car onto his truck when another vehicle crashed into the sedan and tow truck. Due to the impact of the collision, the truck driver was pinned underneath the vehicle.
 
Paramedics extricated the victim. He suffered moderate injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. His current medical condition is unclear at this time.
 
The surrounding area was closed off for a brief time for cleanup and preliminary investigation, but has since reopened at 1:30 PM. No further details have been released regarding the circumstances leading up to the incident at this time.
