Pocket Bike Rider Dies after Crash on La Brea with SUV in Inglewood
INGLEWOOD, CA (July 12, 2019) – A man riding a Pocket Bike was killed following a crash with an SUV at La Brea Avenue, near Hardy Street.
According to reports, the rider was heading north on La Brea Avenue when he collided with an eastbound Kia Sportage for unknown reasons.
Arriving units pronounced the rider dead on scene as a result of the impact. However, his identity has not yet been released pending notification of his family members.
Paramedics took the Kia driver to an area hospital for further treatment of unspecified injuries.
The precise circumstances that led to the fatal accident remain unclear at this time. Further investigation is underway.
