Man Loses Leg in Road 96 Pedestrian Accident [Tulare County, CA]

Tulare County, CA (December 24, 2021) – On Thursday, a man loses his leg in a Road 96 pedestrian accident.

The authorities responded to the crash scene at around 6:42 a.m. at the intersection with Avenue 144.

When the officers arrived, they found the man in his 30s injured in the accident with one of his lower legs amputated.

Right away, the paramedics applied a tourniquet to his leg but the victim was losing a lot of blood. They rushed him to an area hospital where his condition is unknown.

Meanwhile, the involved driver stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Officers said the victim appeared to be under the influence of drugs.
