Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash on Pearblossom Highway in Palmdale Leaves Driver Dead

 
Palmdale, CA (December 9, 2020) – Tuesday night, a man in his 50s died in a two-vehicle crash on Pearblossom Highway at the intersection of Cheseboro Road.
 
The fatal Palmdale crash happened at around 9:47 p.m. on December 8.
 
Initial investigation indicates the Dodge Journey’s driver failed to stop at a posted stop sign on Cheseboro Road, colliding with the 2014 Ram Laramie.
 
As a result, the Dodge Journey’s driver and male passenger were treated on scene and then transported to a local hospital. However, the driver later died of his injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the Ram Laramie’s female driver sustained minor injuries.
 
An open investigation is initiated to determine if drugs or alcohol is a factor in this Pearblossom Highway fatal collision.
 
Further investigation is underway.
