Passenger Dead, Two Hurt in Oakland Big Rig Crash on Chabot Road
OAKLAND, CA (July 9, 2019) – A passenger died in a big rig collision on Chabot Road in Oakland on Saturday, July 6.
The accident happened around 5:02 a.m. at the intersection of Chabot Road and College Avenue, according to the police.
The passenger was in a vehicle that ran a stop sign and was hit by a big rig in the Rockridge neighborhood of Oakland.
The primary investigation found out that the car traveled westbound on Chabot Road trying to cross College Avenue when it was t-boned.
Emergency responders transported the male victim and two others to a hospital, where he died, police stated.
There were no reports of arrests and no further information immediately available. Police did not release any other information at this time.
