1 Dead in Train Crash near Grand Avenue in Surprise
SURPRISE, AZ (August 18, 2020) – Early Sunday morning, a man died in a train accident near Grand Avenue in Surprise.
The pedestrian and train crash happened around 1:30 a.m. Surprise Police Department spokesperson Sgt. Greg Welch said that the incident occurred near Grand Avenue and Greenway Road.
At this time, the circumstances that have led up to the crash remain unestablished. Also, they didn’t disclose the identity of the man.
Meanwhile, the authorities shut down Greenway Road during the investigation.
Due to limited information, the crash remains under active investigation.
