Police Investigate Fatal Crash on Enterprise Bank & Trust Parking Lot in Encinitas

Encinitas, CA (June 24, 2022) – Friday afternoon, a 44-year-old man died in a crash in an Enterprise Bank & Trust parking lot.

The crash in Encinitas happened just before 3:45 p.m. on June 24.

San Diego Police said the victim was lying on some grass on an embankment that was below and out of sight of the parking lot when an SUV struck him. 

He sustained fatal injuries.

Police arrested the 61-year-old woman, but it was still unclear why she drove over the curb and through the bushes.

Further investigation to determine if alcohol or drugs were a factor.
