MEAD, WA (January 3, 2020) – A 31-year-old Spokane man succumbed to death after a single-vehicle car crash on Highway 206 on December 28.
 
The identity of the man remains unreleased due to pending family notification. The man drove a Lexus sedan and hit several trees before it overturned into a creek near Highway 206 and East Kellogg Road.
 
Authorities received a report of the crash just before midnight.
 
According to the police, the collision occurred due to speeding for road conditions. The SUV landed on its top and responders took the man to Sacred Heart Medical Center, where he later died.
 
The police shut down the road during the investigation.
