21-Year-Old Man Killed in Orange Car Collision
ORANGE, CA (September 22, 2019) – Early Sunday morning, a 21-year-old man died in a single car accident on Tustin Street.
According to the Orange Police Department, the crash happened just after 2:30 AM near Vanowen Avenue. Officers reported the pickup driver crashed into a fire hydrant. After that, the truck hit a light pole. Authorities stated it is the only vehicle involved in the accident.
First responders arrived shortly after at the scene. The Orange County coroner’s office declared the victim dead at the scene.
The victims identity has not yet been released to the public.
The street closed between Chestnut Avenue and Katella Avenue for a brief time for a cleanup and preliminary investigation. However, the road reopened three hours later around 5:30 AM. However, law enforcement did not announce further details regarding the circumstances leading up to the incident at this time.
