1 Dead in Huntington Beach Motorcycle Collision on Slater Avenue
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (October 1, 2019) – A 31-year-old man succumbed to his injuries after a pickup truck and motorcycle accident on Slater Avenue.
At around 5:13 p.m. on September 25, Huntington Beach police officers responded to a crash on Slater Avenue and Morgan Lane. They located a severely damaged 2014 Chevrolet Silverado on its left rear and axle. They also found a 2008 red Ducati motorcycle underneath the truck’s left rear tire.
Paramedics pronounced the 31-year-old male motorcyclist from Mission Viejo dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the 71-year-old male driver from Huntington Beach remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
The investigation revealed that the rider didn’t have a motorcycle-endorsed driver’s license.
