38-Year-Old Man Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Glassford Hill Road [Prescott Valley, AZ]

Man Dead and Woman Injured in Prescott Valley Accident on Glassford Hill Road

 
PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ (December 27, 2021) – Saturday, a 38-year-old man died in a pedestrian crash on Glassford Hill Road in Prescott Valley.
 
The incident occurred at around 11:41 p.m. when a man walked on Glassford Hill Road and jumped in front of vehicles. Eventually, a northbound vehicle struck that man. Also, a different vehicle hit a second pedestrian.
 
Investigators confirmed that a 38-year-old man walked in the curb lane of Glassford Hill Road. Then, a 19-year-old Prescott Valley woman hit him. After the crash, the vehicle went into the median.
 
Meanwhile, the passenger, a 21-year-old sister of the driver, went out of the vehicle to help the man. However, an 18-year-old Prescott Valley man driving a northbound vehicle hit her. Apparently, the second driver tried to avoid hitting the male pedestrian.
 
Afterward, responders took the female passenger to a Phoenix hospital in stable condition. Also, the authorities confirmed that both drivers suffered no injuries in the crash. Also, they didn’t show signs of impairment.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities declared the man walking in the road dead at the scene.
 
At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed the identities of the parties due to pending family notification.
 
Furthermore, the crash shut down Glassford Hill Road for approximately six hours for the on-scene investigation.
