1 Dead in Riverside Pedestrian Crash near Market Street
RIVERSIDE, CA (April 7, 2020) – Sunday evening, a man died in a pedestrian crash on 60 Freeway near Market Street in Riverside.
The accident occurred around 10:00 p.m., in the westbound lanes of the 60 Freeway near Market Street.
According to witnesses, the accident involved a pedestrian, a truck and a sedan. However, the details leading up to the collision are currently unclear.
The Riverside County coroner’s office declared one male pedestrian dead on scene, due to the extent of his injuries. However, his identity remains undisclosed due to pending family notification.
Moreover, the surrounding area on 60 Freeway was closed off during cleanup and preliminary duties. However, the roadway has since reopened to traffic.
