1 Dead in Carson Pedestrian Accident on 110 Freeway and Carson Street
CARSON, CA (July 4, 2021) – Saturday, a man lying on the highway died in a pedestrian crash on 110 Freeway and Carson Street.
The officers responded to the scene at 12:39 a.m. to the southbound 110 Freeway, north of Carson Street.
Reports said that as the pedestrian lied in the number two lane of southbound 110 Freeway, a 1999 Lexus hit him. Also, the vehicle traveled at a speed of 65 to 70 mph, the CHP revealed.
Moreover, the pedestrian died at the scene and the 17-year-old boy driving the Lexus suffered no injuries.
Meanwhile, the identity of the pedestrian is being withheld due to pending family notification.
