Male Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle near Borden Avenue

 
SYLMAR, CA (July 2, 2018) – A man was killed Monday evening following a pedestrian collision on Larkspur Street near Borden Avenue.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the collision took place at approximately 10 PM in the 14900 block of Larkspur Street. Paramedics were requested by the police to assist the injured victim. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
Events leading to the collision were not immediately available.
 
The initial investigation revealed that the incident was not a hit-and-run incident. Authorities do not suspect drugs or alcohol as factors that contributed to the collision. The case is still under investigation and anyone who has relevant information about this collision is encouraged to contact the authorities as soon as possible.
 
The identities of the victim and the driver involved were not disclosed, and no additional information has been released to the public at this time.
