Man Dies after Struck by Car on Highway 8 Business near Lakeview Road
LAKESIDE, CA (July 5, 2018) – A man was killed in a pedestrian collision on Highway 8 Business, early Thursday morning. The victim’s name was not disclosed, pending notification of family members.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred just after 4:00 AM near Lakeview Road. He was identified as a 27-year-old man who may have been living in the area. The victim was walking across the road when the incident happened.
The driver stopped and cooperated with officials during their investigation.
