1 Dead in San Jose Pedestrian Accident on Almaden Expressway
SAN JOSE, CA (November 27, 2019) – A man died in a pedestrian accident on Almaden Expressway on November 24.
According to reports, a woman driving a 2007 Toyota Camry struck a man around 6:15 p.m. while he crossed Almaden Expressway on foot at Canoas Garden Avenue, around 800 feet north of Curtner Avenue.
The man died at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver stayed in the area and helped with the police. The authorities also ruled out alcohol and drugs as a factor in the collision. The victim’s identity remains unreleased due to pending family notification.

As a result of the crash, authorities shut down Almaden Expressway in both directions between Highway 87 and Ironwood Drive.
