Fatal Pedestrian Accident on 5 Freeway
VANCOUVER, WA (December 27, 2019) – A man died in an pedestrian accident on 5 Freeway in Vancouver on December 20.
According to authorities, a man died after he went out of a moving truck on 5 Freeway ramp north of Vancouver. The driver of the truck, his father, run over him.
Washington State Patrol Trooper Will Finn said that both his parents sat in front. In addition, the son used the backseat while traveling near Woodland.
According to Finn, the son suffered medical issues and went out of the truck after some kind of verbal issue and altercation. The father attempted to slow down and steered the truck to the shoulder. However, he ended up running over his son. The man succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
