1 Dead in San Diego Pedestrian Accident
SAN DIEGO, CA (December 11, 2019) – A 38-year-old man died in a pedestrian accident on 5 Freeway on December 2.
At about 5:00 a.m., a minivan struck and killed a pedestrian near an off-ramp from 5 Freeway to India Street north of Little Italy.
Reports revealed that the 55-year-old Chrysler minivan driver stayed at the scene.
Responders took the 38-year-old man to a hospital, where he later died.
Meanwhile, authorities closed the off-ramp and northbound India Street from Laurel Street during the investigation. By 8:40 a.m., it reopened.
