Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident on 15 Freeway [Victorville, CA]

Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Truck near D Street

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (August 9, 2018) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on 15 Freeway, early Thursday morning. The victim’s identity was not immediately released, pending notification of next of kin.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place around 1:45 AM near D Street.
 
The Barstow Communication Center said that the 30-year-old pedestrian was seen running in and out of traffic lanes, before he was hit by a large truck. Emergency personnel responded to the crash and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
 
Additional information regarding this incident has not yet been provided to the public at this time. The collision is under investigation by the CHP Victorville Area Office.
