Motorcyclist Fatally Injured in Collision with Vehicle near East Avenue Q-10
PALMDALE, CA (September 15, 2018) – A man was killed Saturday afternoon following a motorcycle crash on 35th Street East. The identity of the victim was not immediately released to the public, pending notification of next of kin.
As per reports, the incident took place at about 3:47 PM near East Avenue Q-10. A man riding a motorcycle was traveling southbound in the number one lane when a Ford Escape attempted to make a U-turn from the number two lane. The Ford entered the rider’s path, causing a collision.
The unidentified motorcyclist sustained critical injuries, and he was later pronounced dead at the scene by responding officials with the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Meanwhile, the unidentified Ford driver was transported to the Palmdale Regional Medical Center for treatment. There is no update on his current medical condition.
