Vehicle Runs Through Stop Sign on Sutter Boulevard in Morgan Hill Killing Another Motorist
MORGAN HILL, CA (January 13, 2020) – A man was killed following a two-vehicle crash Monday morning in Morgan Hill, police said.
The crash happened just before 11:00 a.m. at the intersection of Sutter Boulevard and Jarvis Drive.
According to police, one vehicle ran a stop sign when it collided with a second vehicle. The impact caused major damage on both cars.
Emergency personnel found the driver of the second vehicle trapped inside his car and was unresponsive. They extricated him and pronounced him dead at the scene.
The Santa Clara County medical examiner’s office did not release the victim’s identity pending family notification.
The other driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators, according to police.
It is unclear whether both drivers were wearing their seat belts.
