Afternoon 2-Car Crash in Muscoy Kills 1 and Injures 3
MUSCOY, CA (June 18, 2019) – A man was killed following a two-car crash Tuesday afternoon in Muscoy, CHP officials said.
The crash happened just before 5:00 p.m., in the 3300 block of Duffy Street. First responders arrived near Ogden Street shortly after.
According to initial reports, a gray Kia hatchback and a white Honda sedan were involved, with each vehicle carrying two people. One of the cars ran through the stop sign and eventually crashed into a nearby pole.
At least one person was ejected from a vehicle as a result of the crash. Four people were also transported to a hospital. Two of which were suffering life-threatening injuries.
Sadly, one of the patients, a 20-year-old man, did not survive and was declared dead. The identity of the victim was not immediately available pending next of kin notification.
Both cars were badly damaged following the collision. They were towed away from the crash site due to the extent of their damage.
No additional information has been provided to the public at this time. The crash still currently remains under investigation at this time.
