San Antonio, TX (December 26, 2024) – 65-year-old man died in a crash on Guadalupe Street.

San Antonio police report that a driver struck and killed a 65-year-old man on the West Side Thursday evening.

The collision occurred just before 7 p.m. at the intersection of Guadalupe Street and S Zarzamora Street. 

Authorities stated that the man was walking east in a crosswalk on Guadalupe Street while the “do not walk” signal was flashing. 

At that moment, a driver heading northbound with a green light hit the man.

Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.

The driver stayed at the location and fully cooperated with the police investigation. 

According to officials, no charges are expected to be filed against the driver at this time.
