Fatal Pedestrian Hit-and-Run Crash on Holt Avenue in Pomona

 
POMONA, CA (December 21, 2019) – A man was killed in a pedestrian hit-and-run crash Saturday evening in Pomona, authorities said.
 
The crash happened around 7:35 p.m., at Holt Avenue and St. Paul Street.
 
Pomona Police found a male pedestrian lying unconscious on the westbound lanes of Holt Avenue.
 
Due to the impact of the collision, the victim suffered severe injuries and died at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, a female arrived on scene and identified herself as a driver involved in the incident.
 
According to witnesses, the victim was initially hit by a different driver. He was left lying on the roadway, where he was struck by the second motorist.
 
The first driver left the location and could not be found, officials said.
 
Authorities have not released the victim’s name and provided no further details about the case.
