Pedestrian Fatally Struck by SUV on Highway 94 in Lemon Grove
LEMON GROVE, CA (February 2, 2020) – A man was killed in a pedestrian crash Sunday evening in Lemon Grove, CHP officials said.
The crash happened just after 9:00 p.m. on Highway 94 at College Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2010 Toyota RAV4 was traveling in the far right lane when a male pedestrian on the right shoulder walked into traffic, directly into the path of the SUV.
The victim, whose identity was not immediately available., died at the scene.
The driver, a 29-year-old woman, remained on scene and cooperated with investigators. She was not under the influence at the time of the crash.
