Man Killed in Pedestrian Crash on 210 Freeway at Riverside Avenue [RIALTO, CA]

Fatal Pedestrian Crash on 210 Freeway in Rialto

 
RIALTO, CA (August 3, 2019) – A man died following a pedestrian crash on 210 Freeway Saturday evening in Rialto.
 
The fatal pedestrian accident happened around 9:28 p.m. on eastbound 210 Freeway near Riverside Avenue.
 
According to an initial report, the man ran from the right shoulder to the center divider. As a result, several vehicles struck the victim, including a gray Toyota Tundra.
 
Arriving units found the man lying in the slow lane and pronounced him dead at the scene. The identity of the victim has not yet been released pending family notification.
 
A coroner’s personnel has been summoned to investigate the fatality.
