Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Highway 128 in Napa
NAPA, CA (August 3, 2019) – A man died following a motorcycle crash on Highway 128 Saturday afternoon in unincorporated Napa County.
The crash reported at 2:04 p.m. on Highway 128 near Wragg Canyon Road, about two miles south of the Markley Cove resort at Lake Berryessa.
CHP officials said the man lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Napa County Sheriff’s Office said one-way traffic allowed between Wragg Canyon Road and Markley Cove. Motorists were advised to avoid the area. The roadway reopened just before 5:00 p.m.
Further details, including the identity of the deceased, were not immediately available. The crash remains under investigation.
