Industrial Accident Involving Machinery Rollover in King City Kills One

 
KING CITY, CA (September 27, 2019) – A man died after the machinery he was operating rolled over Friday afternoon in King City, authorities said.
 
The incident took place around 2:40 p.m., when the first call was made to emergency services.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, it appears the man was involved in an industrial accident on a piece of private property west of Highway 101 and north of the Jolon and King City areas.
 
Initial reports indicated that the man was on a bulldozer at the time of the accident. Arriving emergency services declared the man dead at the scene.
 
Authorities did not release the identity of the victim pending family notification. The CHP is still investigating the cause of the accident.
