Man Killed in Crash at Cedar Avenue and Santa Ana Avenue [BLOOMINGTON, CA]

Pickup Truck Crash at Cedar Avenue Turns Fatal

 
BLOOMINGTON, CA (June 9, 2019) – A man was killed following a traffic accident Sunday evening in Bloomington area, CHP officials said.
 
The crash happened around 9:29 p.m., at the intersection of Cedar Avenue and Santa Ana Avenue. Dispatchers arrived to the area shortly after.
 
According to an initial report, a pickup truck lost control and crashed into a power pole for unknown reasons. The male driver was also ejected from the vehicle as a result.
 
Units arriving on scene located the pickup with heavy damage and leaking gasoline. The male driver was also found lying on the sidewalk a short distance away.
 
The unidentified man was pronounced dead on scene due to the impact. However, no other injuries were reported.
 
It is currently unknown if speed, drugs and/or alcohol were contributing factors in the crash. Further investigation is still underway.
